The Brown Jug Restaurant has been a part of Ann Arbor and The University of Michigan tradition since 1936. The Brown Jug is named after the Michigan vs Minnesota football trophy, which is the oldest in college football.
Along with the brews, our bar features a full food menu with most items named after well-known Wolverine alumni, think Tom Brady’s Gyro Sandwich and Dylan Larkin’s Super Hoagie. Longtime patrons love our wide selection of food options from pizza and burgers, to Tex-Mex and Mediterranean cuisine— and, of course, the opportunity to catch every Michigan game. In addition to our classics. Go Blue!
